Jens Rasmussen
Biography:
Despite being voted most likely to become a monk by the 8th grade class at St. Mary’s grade school in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Jens became an actor, and has created over 100 roles on stage and in film. Based in New York City, he has performed for the United Nations, as well as with Off-Broadway theatres like Pan Asian Rep, Synapse Productions, Epiphany Theatre Co, Theatreworks/USA, Assembly Productions, Vital Theatre, and others.
Jens has worked extensively in Regional Theatre. He’s been a resident guest artist at The State Theatre of Georgia as well as at Mill Mountain Theatre in Virginia, Stage One, and the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival. Of his work on camera, he is especially proud of the award winning films A Boy and a Girl, Rendezvous with Rama (which was featured in American Cinematographer) and his recent documentary hosting experience with the Jack Mountain Earth Skills Immersion Program.
