Though voted most likely to become a monk in 8th grade - Jens chose the life of an actor and has created over 150 roles for theatre and film.
In New York City he’s worked with New Dramatists, EPIC, PanAsian Rep, New Georges, Manhattan Theatre Source, The Internationalists, terraNOVA, and others. Regionally he's performed across the country from the Kennedy Center to Boise. He’s been a resident guest artist with companies in Florida, Virginia, Kentucky, and most recently Georgia, where he founded NO SHAME COLUMBUS.
Jens has received both an Acclaim Award and a League of Cincinnati Theatres Award for his work, as well being recognized as “Best of 2010” and “Best of 2010/11 Season.”
His performance in Stephen King’s SURVIVOR TYPE (a story, which Mr. King said, “goes a little too far, even for me.”) was called “rock solid” after it’s recent premiere at the Buried Alive Horror film festival.
When his schedule allows, Jens is fortunate to be a guest instructor at Jack Mountain Bushcraft, where he teaches traditional skills, wilderness living & survival. (Survival bio)
